Can you believe it's December already!!  - Well I had my first fun Christmas event this month, I was at a good friends home for her annual Christmas crop!  She is able to get anywhere from 20-26 people in her home for a full day of Scrapping, paper crafting and whatever you want!  She provides us with 3 meals so we pay a fee for the day of fun!
This year she had about 24 gathered together.  And the theme was Reindeer.  So for raffle tickets we can do various things to earn more tickets for her prize drawings!   One of the things is usually to bring something to share with the rest of the group- I decided to make these cute Emeryboard sleeves for everyone.  I bought the more sturdy course type, so they could be used as a sander, distressers in scrapbooking or for their nails!  I saw the tuturial here on Papercraft Planet!-  So here's a look at my file sleeves!

My paper is a Christmas kraft pack I found at Hobby Lobby when I was home visiting family in Minnesota! I just love this paper, and it was a great combination for this project!

My deer was diecut with Tim Holtz mover shaker deer die, and the bow came from his newest release the wreathe and bow mover shaker die.  I have this wonderful cork paper that I cut my deer from, it is kinda fragile though so I backed them each with cardstock from my paper scraps after cutting my sleeves.

Here they all are together before I gave them all away!!  - I have to say I loved these!! And everyone enjoyed receiving them, but they were a lot more work than I anticipated.  I had plans for a little tag, but had to let it go as this- since it took me awhile to get them all together.  I think some of the problem, was everytime I tried to work on them my 5 month old kitten kept getting in the middle of it all!    Feels like I have a toddler on my hands these days...

Thats' it - hope you get a chance to try these, they are really fun!  I especially love the 'crimping' on the end!
