The past couple of years, I've attended and assisted my friend Gloria Stengel, (check out her class on her blog here) as she always graciously donates her time and supplies to teaching a few classes during the event. This year, I went just as a normal participant, so I decided to work on a project I saw a few years ago, from one of the G45 Designers- Olga Struck, I loved that it just required a few papers from the line and something I already had in my 'stash'! Her creative slant to making each container look like a book was ingenious! To embellish I went again to my stash and pulled out some metal embellishments and wooden numbered buttons to give them some added character.
here, that's easy enough to follow- I admit I had some trouble using her measurements, so kind of went on my own there.
Here's a little closer look -
I also think I'm going to put a layer of Rangers' Glue 'n Seal to help give some more durability.
Thanks for stopping by - hope I've inspired you to give Olga's Desk Organizer try!
