Moxie Fab Tuesday Trigger Challenge

Hi there!  It's Wednesday, and I'm happy to say I finally made time to work on some challenge cards.  So today I'm posting a card based on the inspiration going on over at Moxie Fab Tuesday Trigger Challenge.

Tuesday's inspiration is not my usual color pallet at least not all at the same time and I think that is why I wanted to give it try.   So here's my CAS card, I used chevron print papers to bring in all the colors and lines, and teamed it with a woodgrain pink background.  the stampset I used is from Stampin'UP!  I'm pretty sure this set has been retired.  But I loved the simple phrase and sentinment.

here's the inspiration trigger....  as you can see it's very linear and yet the triangles made me think of arrows which gives movement too.  When I first saw this I thought of chevrons and arrows, and the paper I picked seemed to reflect that too.  I also knew I had to try to keep this as clean and simple as I could.  I deviated from the color pallet a bit, by choosing the darker navy print but it just felt like it needed to be grounded in some way.

And that's it!  There's still time, to play along, you have until Sunday July 22nd so head on over to Moxie Fab's - Tuesday Trigger ! and create an inspiration of your own.
