I am soooo into shaped cards, and tags these days. So everything I used here is from Spellbinders' Bird Sanctuary set and the Orchard Harvest tags set I purchased from The Rubber Cafe'. I used the embossing of the Spellbinder larger die from the Orchard Harvest set to reflect that element from Tim's sample, and I used the bird diecut from the Bird Sanctuary set to get the details of the bird, and I guess where the similarities end.
So just a reminder here's Tim's tag ...
I've cut my tag, from a base card stock and layered printed paper from Melissa Frances. I inked the edges, popped the edge and bird up a bit, and used a Cream Pearl Pen to accent the impressions of the die cut around the frame.
The Rolled flowers are ribbon and burlap ribbon I rolled glued with Scrap Happy Glue and attached with leaves from the Orchard Harvest set. For fun I added some sweet mushrooms, to give it a shot of color!
I picked up the mushrooms in a recent trip to one of my favorites places in San Diego, it's called Paper Tales you can see their website here, while it's obvious they focus on Scrapbook and Cardmaking supplies... what I love is the Vintage and Shabby Chic direction that the whole store exudes everywhere you look! If you're ever in this area, you have to stop in! In the meantime, take a gander through her website Michelle does a great job of displaying their product offerings.
That's it! for now, thanks for stopping by-
