The Rubber Cafe' - Valentine- Hearts Abound!

Hi, today over at The Rubber Cafe' we are celebrating Valentine's Day and sharing some sweet fun from several of the Design Team and our Glueistas'!   Be sure to check it out.

For this special day, I created a couple of fun treat box ideas!  First I have another Triangle Treat box- this time making it 3 x 3 instead of a 2" she shared at Christmas.  It was easy to increase the size, just by increasing the beginning square piece from 6" to 9" inch square - however big you want your treat box, just multiply that by 3! A 4" Trianglular box would need a full 12 x 12 sheet of paper.

The paper mustache and lips - were cut using the Cameo Silhouette and the tag stamped with the Small 'XOXO' stamp from The Rubber Cafe'.

Here's a view of it open, Velcro closures(also can be found in the Rubber Cafe store) keep it snug and tight so your candy kisses won't fall out!

My second treat is something I shared with my co-workers.  I work with a lot of Men, so I'm always tyring to find fun ways to share with them, without getting too cutsie or girlie!  That's a challenge believe me!

I started thinking I'd use the triangle box above, but than I found these cute acrylic pillow boxes at Gee Gee's in Carlsbad, CA and fell in love with the idea of embossing them filling them with chocolate and a simple breadtwist tag and a Rubber Cafe' stamp!

It's hard to photograph acrylic without a glare, but here's a close up so hopefully you can see the texture I achieved with my embossing folder!

I wrapped a hair elastic around the ends and this also holds my simple tag-

Can you see the Patterned hearts repeated across the box?

These came together in no time!  So will definitely do this again.

Thanks for stopping by be sure to head over to The Rubber Cafe' Blog and catch the rest of the low-calorie goodies the team has to share!
