Happy 2012!

I'm so excited, I have been wanting to start my own Blog, for quite awhile, and I am finally doing it.  So here's to a new year, new challenges, and new beginnings!

This first project is a gift I made and gave to my Dad, I was able to give it to him when I traveled back for the holidays.   I love it as it features 3 Generations, my Dad is the little guy!

I cut all the chipboard myself, using an XL Sizzix die for the top and smaller border dies to create the bottom edge. Scoring allowed for it to fold and stand on it's own.  The paper I used is from BoBunny's Family Tree, and I used embellishments that coordinated with the paper and some of my own charms and chipboard pcs.

Here's a smaller one that I kept for myself. The base of this is 3 pages from a Black Chalkboard book from Cosmo Cricket.  I used more of my own trinkets and embellishements, and some filmstrip trim from Tim Holtz.
