Pyramid Tree card

Today - I'm sharing a Pyramid card featuring last months Creative Cafe' kit stamp set.

I made this card with (3) 4" square pieces- but the fun part is you can use any size you want as long as they are all the same. My mass production set was made with 3" square pieces. One 12 x 12 pc of cardstock or Patterned paper will give you 4 cards.

Here's a look at my finished Pyramid card, using 4" squares- You can see it all the details here!

Here's another set - I made and gave for a bunch of my croppin' buddies!- These are also based on 4" squares.  I used a large brad to hook my left flap behind, and covered with a 5/8" scallop punched circle.   These were a base of Kraft cardstock, and I covered each triangle section with patterned paper from "My Mind's Eye" holiday line.

Finally these are my Christmas card mailings - I also gave a small group of these away to my fellow team members at work.   I just love how they all look standing together!

Here's a view of the inside as well...

Creative Cafe Dec kit of the month - Wish Big!

Hi Everyone!

This December kit of the month for the Creative Cafe' - has definitely been fun - and I know you're going to love all the projects and cards the team have been preparing to share with you!

Today - I'm going to share a couple of quick fun tutorials. My card is using the 'Wiper' Card technique which pops up an image or message but lays flat for easy mailing. On the front, I've made a 'faux' Pinwheel that I thought perfect for the front of my card so just had to share that with you as well. So grab your beverage of choice and we'll get started!

Here's a look at my card - as it stands when opened.

And when pushed flat... you can see it will fit nicely in an envelope.

To see more details and a tutorial on how to make the card base and the 'faux' pinwheel head over to the Rubber Cafe' blog here!
