Hi Everyone!
This December kit of the month for the Creative Cafe' - has definitely been fun - and I know you're going to love all the projects and cards the team have been preparing to share with you!
Today - I'm going to share a couple of quick fun tutorials. My card is using the 'Wiper' Card technique which pops up an image or message but lays flat for easy mailing. On the front, I've made a 'faux' Pinwheel that I thought perfect for the front of my card so just had to share that with you as well. So grab your beverage of choice and we'll get started!
Here's a look at my card - as it stands when opened.
And when pushed flat... you can see it will fit nicely in an envelope.
To see more details and a tutorial on how to make the card base and the 'faux' pinwheel head over to the Rubber Cafe' blog here!

Creative Cafe' -Kit Twas the Night- Glitter Dryer sheet Tutorial
Well we're half way through the month already ! This next card I have to share is actually easier than it looks and makes a great candidate for making several if you're looking for that special card you can send out this year. Add a holiday sentiment or insert a family picture!
The card is a regular A2 card size - but scored on the side - measuring 4 1/4 x 5 1/2". For more info and my tutorial on how I used a Glitter//Dryer Sheet technique to make my snowy scene head on over to the Rubber Cafe' here!

Creative Cafe'-Kit of the month - featuring 2 Treat boxes turtorial for the Rubber Cafe'!
Hi Everyone! Are you feeling that crisp feeling of fall in the air yet? Even in Southern Cal -we're finally starting to get a little of that - especially once the sun goes down! I love this time of year no matter what part of the country I'm living in- but I do miss those wonderful fall colors I grew up with in the midwest!
Today 's project again features all the yummy products included in our October Kit of the month - Fall Harvest! My project is a little different in that I'm going to showcase 2 - 3" square boxes I made from 1 sheet of 8 1/2" cardstock! I found this wonderful video from Sam Donald a Stampin' Up demo in the UK - I also step it out for you in my post on The Rubber Cafe' here!
Here's my 2 boxes- I finished them each a bit differently but they're perfect for putting in some small gift tags, candy goodies, small soap or anything you come up with!

Creative Cafe' Kit of the Month - Flower Pot and Burlap Flower tutorial
Mid October and I have a project to help you get thinking about Thanksgiving! If you're entertaining family and friends this year, maybe this will be something you can make to help adorn your table and everyone's place setting.
Using the stamps and materials from the Creative Cafe' kit, Fall Harvest, and the Add-on set Fall Traditions, I created some fun Place holders with a cute flower pot filled with things each person is Thankful for!

Creative Cafe' Kit of the Month - Fall Harvest Radient card and Tag Tutorial
Here we are at the end of the first week! How are you enjoying the cards and tags we've shared so far? Well we have more for you which will continue on throughout the month - so stay tuned!
Today I'm going to share with you another paper piecing technique, I have done this before but cut my pieces rather by feel than by measurement. When I saw this more measured and precise approach, (I can't remember where unfortunately) I decided to give it a try.
